The Vindhólar-Keppni is the competition with original Icelandic flair – for all age groups and levels.

The event offers appropriate competitions not only for so called sports riders but also for members of the leisure, children’s and adolescence class.

There is a children’s, an open and a master class.

Besides multiple possibilities to qualify, there are also many exciting and interesting disciplines, for example the original Icelandic Gaedingarkeppni. For spectators this means that there will be something amazing to look at, considering the international starter field which consists of well known riders such as world champion Johann Skúlasson, Frauke Schenzel who was several times world champion and German Champion in the juniorclass and other popular riders coming from northern Europe like the Scandinavian champion Anna Valdimarsdóttir. Same as last year, also many children, adolescents and members of the leisure class, like their professional counterparts, are motivated to give their best in the various competitions.

The Icelandic horse stable Vindhólar at Stapelfeld, close to Hamburg, is an experienced host of important Icelandic horse competitions. For visitors to this represantitive horse stable it is very comfortable to get there because of the close connection to the highway.

The horse competitions, the food offered at the stands and the music, everything has got a special Icelandic touch that demonstrates the fascination of this beautiful country to everybody. During the day the music experts and entertainers Lutz Lesener and Laura Eckhardt together with the speaker Mareike Koehler are responsible for the diversity of the program which is designed to guarantee lots of fun and thrilling competitions.

Already Friday evening visitors are invited to enjoy the variety of Icelandic food and drinks at the festive tent which are offered by an experienced catering team.

The party evening on Saturday (without entrance fee!) once again is characterized by an Icelandic touch: A famous Icelandic music group invites you to dance and delicious food from Iceland helps to make everybody feel pleasant.
